CRAFTS IN THE WOODS
     In April of 2022, I began creating a craft shed. An honor system shop full of paper ornaments, journals & boxes, my sister Heather Webber's hand spun & knit wearables, and my friend Amy Mussman's whimsical stitched & stuffed creatures. My husband Adam has also included a lending library.
     At Mermaid Bindery, I am a builder of artist books, but as a child, I also picked up a few skills while my father built our house around us. Last summer, I spent a day every week refurbishing a run down potting shed. It was dragged to the end of the drive & on August 28th our curbside cottage industry was open for business.
