Rebinds

When rebinding a book, I try to save as many of the original materials as possible or wanted by the client. Such as any decorative elements on the covers, or end pages that have been written on.

The books that I rebind are those of sentimental value as opposed to historic value. If you have a book of suspected antique value you should contact a book appraiser. Online resources below.

An archival box is an excellent way to artfully protect loose mementos and heirlooms.

Please contact me for an estimate.

Rebind Process

A grandmother's hand written recipe book.

I clean out old threads, repair pages, re-sew, add new end pages, end bands and spine linings, and case it into the new cover.
